在公开发表的论文中，要求从题目至关键词部分须译成英文。这就涉及单位名称的翻译，具体到高校，就涉及到院校名称以及其二级学院（系）的英文翻译。

校名的英文名称一般比较“恒定”（约定俗成），不应“随意翻译”。例如，西安科技大学的前身是“西安矿业学院”（1958-1998），其英文名称是“Xi'an Mining Institute”; 1998年更名为“西安科技学院”，2003年更名为“西安科技大学”，所以从1998年开始，我校的英文名称一直是“Xi'an University of Science and Technology”（可简写为”Xi'an Univ of Sci & Tech”），请大家尽量用全称，如果学校名字不能规范书写会导致成果不能归属学校。
